Lal Bagh Kella
The Lalbagh Fort, an unfinished Mughal fort
structure built in the 17th century on the banks of Buriganga river in
south-western Dhaka, Bangladesh. Its first construction was started by Mughal
Subadar Muhammad Azam Shah. It is believed that the name of the fort was named
according to Emperor Aurangzeb. Everything above is normal, but since then the
mystery of the Lalbagh Fort started soon after. For some reason, when Azam Shah
moved to Delhi, the construction of the fort was started by Nawab Shawesta
Khan, the Nawab of the Mughals.
Shortly after the start of the construction of
the fort, suddenly his daughter died. Then many people, including Nawab Shaista
Khan, think that the fort is Evil, so he stopped the construction of the fort.
After Shaista Khan left Dhaka, it is neglected for a long time. However, the
work he completed before he left is the mosque, tomb of Pari bibi, and the
Dewan-i-am. With two huge arches and partially damaged strong castle walls.
There was a huge arcade in the south-west corner of the southern fort wall.
There were a number of buildings, stables, administrative buildings, and
western part of the southern fort wall, and there was a beautiful roof-garden
system with water reservoirs and fountains. The residential part was west-east
of the fort wall, mainly on the south-west side of the mosque. In the southern
fort walls at a certain interval, there were 5 towers. Of which height are
equal to 2 floors, and The fort of the west had two towers, the largest of
which was at the southern main entrance. The towers were an underground tunnel.
Later on, there are so many mysteries are come to light about this tunnel. When
the Lalbagh Fort was opened to everyone after the fall of the Mughals, it is
believed that this tunnel was built as a way to escape or conceal in secret.
Some people think that this tunnel is associated with Tangi river. Some others
think that this is a waterway, there is a mare on its end.
Since the invention
of the tunnel, till now no person has got the courage to enter it. It is heard
that two dogs were sent by trial, but the two dogs did not return. Since then
local people have been getting more and more fear. It is common to hear a
strange sound from inside this clarinet in the deep night, but there is no such
person who has heard the voice heard in his ears. The idea of local people, the
Nawabs killed many people inside this tunnel, their spirits made such a strange
noise. There are many different types of weird stories that are in circulation.
Local people think that if someone enters the tunnel, he will never return.
There are no state steps taken so far to discover the mystery of this tunnel.
Nowadays a door has been set in front of the tunnel so that no one can enter
the tunnel. But many people are of the opinion that if the initiatives are
taken to dig the tunnel, then during the excavation, tunnel's main mystery may
be known. And when we hope that the mystery is solved, we are eager people,
we'll be there. In the hope that there really is no mystery. But it is true
that if there is any mystery inside the tunnel after digging, then it will be
the only mysteries in the world, which has anecdotal evidence ...
